B.1 Installing the game
Populous works in most, if not all, operative systems.
If you have bought the game and have a CD, then insert it and proceed the manual instalation - it should be quite easy. (You find it on stores (hardly) or buy it on "gog.com".
But there are easier and faster ways of installing Populous:
It is possible that, depending on what operating system or pc, your Populous will have some problems like weird video or graphics. Note that it is possible to solve this problems - just ask for help on the Populous: Reincarnated forums, and an expert wil help you. (register on the site before making a post)
Now, aim the "Downloads" tab.
Now depending on what you want, you can choose between the full game, the demo, the multiplayer essentials, etc.
You want the complete game, so click on the "Populous: The Beginning" (96.3MB)
Now wait. The game is downloading. After the download is finished, open it (the .exe) and proceed the easy installation. Note that this links have no viruses, so don't worry about it. There are other ways or sites from where you can download the game, but they might not be safe!
Congratulations, you now have the game installed, and all for free! You can now play it offline.
Want to play online? Then you will have to download a match maker and have the game installed on your PC. Watch this video if you want to play online but you have no clue how:
