The intro video is 2:07 minutes long and will show once you first install the game, after clicking "New Game". Note that if you click with mouse or any keyboard button, the video will stop and you will move to the solar system.

 

The video briefly explains the story behind Populous and contains some spoilers, in case you are a total beginner, like some spells or units that you will be able to have, in later stages. Nonetheless, it's a really epic video and everyone should watch it at least once!
