B.3 Populous Menu
Before the menu, an information title is displayed on the screen you to read. If you click (or after some seconds) it will move on to the Populous Menu.
The Menu has a Title and a subtitle on top. In the centre you have 9 options to click.
- New game will lead you to the solar system, so you can play the single player. If it's the first time you've installed the game, a intro video will show up. Also, if it's the first time you are playing, it will ask you if you want to play the tutorial first.
- Tutorial will instantly move you to the game's tutorial, which is highly recommended to the new players.
- Load game will open a tab with the saved files you have. If you have none, you will not be able to load a saved stage of the game.
- Multiplayer will lead you to some options that might help you play via winsock tcp-ip internet connection or head to head modem connection. It works but it's better to play on a Matchmaker.
- Options will move you through the in-game GAME, SOUND or GRAPHICS options. You can change more options in game by pressing the "esc" key and clicking in "options".
- Rolling Demo will roll a demonstration of the game. Clicking with the mouse or any key will stop the demo.
- Credits will roll the credits of the game. Clicking with the mouse or any ke will stop the credits.
- Coming Soon will open the Bullfrog's future projects. It most likely will not work.
- Quit will quit the game, after you press "yes". If you press "No", it will go back to the menu.
At the bottom, you can see the currently installed version of the game, and the date that version was implemented.

Finally, the Populous menu might change depending whether if you are playing the original or fan-made versions of the game. For Instance, if you have Populous: The Aftermath isntalled, the menu will look like this:
