B.7 Populous Rolling Demo
The Populous Rolling Demo will show you 5 sketches of 3 different levels. It lasts some minutes and points at some key factors of the game, such as troops, spells, buildings and different level styles.
On the first sketch, the shaman will worship a vault of knowledge to permanently obtain the building "tower".
On the second sketch, the shaman is on a balloon with a firewarrior, casting spells on the enemy: spells such as erode, tornado, swarms and lightnings. The shaman gets killed at end, though.
On the third sketch, you can see how building works. Some braves will be put to build a hut plan, near a tower. You can also see 4 idle braves for some reason.
The fourth sketch is of an advanced level - you can see by the terrain colour and the water style - which is actually lava now, as it's a planet near the sun, on the solar system. You can see many troops and the blue shaman. They will atack Matak and cast huge spells, like angel of death, earthquakes, erodes, flattens, swamps, firestorm and even a volcano!
The fifth sketch is also the last one, and it covers an early stage, again. The player is sending warriors to a Matak preacher, and once they get out of control - because they are being preached - he sends his own preacher to fight the enemy preacher. This somehow is teaching a unit tactic.
