C.9 Warrior training hut
A Warrior Training Hut is used to make the follower known as warriors. Warriors are the most powerful units in terms of strength when compared to any other unit in Populous. The hut takes more wood to build than normal huts (normal hut takes 3 wood, while warrior hut takes 8 wood piles). It is the first training hut a player recives when playing the single player version of Populous - you unlock it in the first level!
If any unit gets inside a warrior hut, he will later become a warrior. A shaman can get inside a warrior hut, but she obviously won't transform. When many braves are in queue to get to warriors, they look like they are idle because they barely move, but they are not - they are still counted as "working braves".
Warrior hut will get completly destroyed with a good placed tornado. Training braves requires mana.
When playing Populous (specially online, against smarter players) make sure you build your warrior hut (and any other training building) at the back of your settlement, so it is harder for the enemy to reach and destroy it!
If the game gets long and your population is high, don't be afraid of building two or three warrior huts to keep a fast warrior production.
Warriors are weak against preachers, so be careful when you play a level and temple is avaliable!
Bloodlusted warriors are one of the best forces in this game - and they even ignore preachers when bloodlusted!
