D.1 Buildings and their cost

There are a number of different kinds of huts and other buildings that can be constructed by your followers, each providing a unique function and, in some cases, allowing you to train specialized followers. Not all kinds of buildings will be needed for every level or situation — it’s up to you to make intelligent descisions about how to allocate your resources to your greatest advantage.

The eight major buildings take the form of primitive wooden huts of different shapes and sizes, with various embellishments like torches or fences to distinguish them from one another. Each hut serves a specialized function, in many cases allowing for the training of Braves into more advanced followers like Warriors, Preachers and Spies.

All buildings are constructed by Braves, who must harvest the necessary raw material (lumber) from the trees that dot the landscape of all the various worlds. Buildings must be placed adjacent to your reincarnation site initially; subsequent buildings can be placed adjacent to completed buildings, thus allowing for the gradual expansion of your buildable area.

Guard Towers are the only standalone structure (meaning they can be placed anywhere on the map at will). Once a Tower is constructed additional buildings can then be placed around it, creating a much greater opportunity for expansion.

How many wood piles are needed to build each building?

Hut - 3 wood piles. (later on, this hut will upgrade and needs two more piles for each next level)

Guarding tower -  5 wood piles.

Training huts - 8 wood piles.

Boat hut - 5 wood piles. (each hut 4 wood piles)

Balloon hut - 11 wood piles. (each balloon 3 wood piles)

Fireplace - free. (this isnt an actual building, but it's on the building's panel. The enemy won't see your fireplaces, it's only used to patrol units)
