It is possible to build while on worldview - this is actually not really useful, but it's something everyone should know how to do. It's not very good because it takes longer than building in normal camera angle, and has no special abilities - except maybe that in worldview you can cover a larger area on the planet of places you can build on, in a matter of a second.

 

To build on worldview, you have to press ENTER (does not work with SHIFT+ENTER) and, as the camera is going to worldview, you just click on the building, on the BUILDINGS PANEL. When on worldview, you can place the plan - take note that, when on worldview with the plan selected, if the plan is flashing, is because you can not build there (flashing means red squares on normal camera angle on the plan), but if it's not flashing, you can place it. You can also place more plans in a row by holding Ctl and clicking.
