The most basic and used trick in most levels (except on levels with tons of wildmen to convert, where this trick is not that used). Basically, for each time you do this trick, you will obtain a new brave to your population. 

The trick consists on having 1 (or 2, but it's usually better and faster with 1) brave(s) inside a hut. Click to dismantle the hut. As soon and the first wood pile is dismantled, click to mantle the hut again. Send the brave to rebuild the hut. When the hut is rebuilt, the green bar will be on top, and a new brave will be born.

This trick is really strong because it will boost your population if you do it fast and to many huts at the same time as you can. Dismantling 5 huts at once, twice, will increase your population by 10 and will take only a few seconds!

Be aware that you should not use all huts to upgrade, if the green bar is already near top, it's not worth to waste time on that particular hut. If red bar (upgrading bar) is half or more than half, you should think if you really want to get an extra brave from that hut in exchange for the hut not going to upgrade soon (as the hut is dismantled and mantled again, the upgrade bar is reset).

The other thing you need to know while using this trick is if you are able to increase you population. For that, you need to check your "total followers" bar. Click with the mousethere . It will say [X out of X]. If the first number is lower than the second, you can dismantle and the hut will generate a new brave. If the first number is equal or higher than the second, if you dismantle, the hut will not generate a brave, because you reached the limit population for the ammount of huts you own - build more huts, unless you have 199 braves, which is the limit.

 

This trick can be used both offline and online, but it's very important to use online, as most players will do it to increase their population and get faster huts/troops/mana.
