F.29 Flattening land to add extra buildings

Expanding (or recovering) is something every player should learn about. In this particular case, using landbridge or flatten to add extra buildings is what we will teach you. Note that, when it comes to this matter, a landbridge is usually better and cheaper than a flatten.

Starting with landbridges, you should know that a single landbridge should always give room to 2 buildings, and if it doesn't, it was a bad placed landbridge. Depending on the terrain shape, and on the casting point height, a single land bridge can add room for up to 5 buildings! This small videos will help you placing your shaman and casting the best possible landbridges.

Flattens are different, they usually only make room for one building, but because it creates a larger weight of land, it can be used to place a firewarrior hut, where in many cases a simple landbridge couldn't. Other than that - and to expand hills - you should charge landbridge and not flatten to expand your settlement.
