This question has been on the community for long, specially since Electronic Arts closed their old multiplayer service. Back in 2004 or so, many would think Populous would die in a matter of 2 to 4 years, but that was never the case - The community is one of the smallest, but most of the times it consisted of 25 to 70 people using lobbies at a time, with low peaks of only 3-6 people, but with high peaks of almost 160 at once! 

What do you think about this matter? We are in 2015, this game is long forgotten, but weirdly people keep joining the community, and these days many games are being played. If Populous survived 17 years, why not another 17, right? It depends on us too - we need to promote the game, the services and teach our kids, friends and cousins about this awesome world - the world of Populous. Hopefully they keep our legacy, for many years - anyways, this game will never die for us Populous players, since it was the game of our childhood - or manhood for some - and will be present on our memory forever.
