Wildman Productions is a non-profit organization made up of hobbyist programmers and other artists that just want to create stuff in their free time. The Wildman Productions members:

They have created an alternative matchmaker where you can play Populous, created some tools like Sprite Workshop, Resource Workshop, Shaman's Workbench, and are currently developing the huge project called Populous: Tribal Conquest.

It is much known that Populous Ressurection matchmaker has impressive features, but the activity there has been close to none, in the past few years. It could literally take months to find two or three other players to have a game, if you log in in 2014 or 2015! Populous TC is currently stopped, or in really slow progress (2015) but 68% is done!
