Being registered in PopRe, aim to CLANS, and on the left side, you will find a tab saying CREATE CLAN.

 

Have an idea for a new clan and want to get it up and running? Well that's great but there are a few things you'll need before you can get one.

First you'll need a name and tag for your clan (keep the tag 2-3 characters and don't put [] in it). Next we require that you have a website for your clan with a few basic pages. It must have some sort of front page with a bit of information about the clan, it must have a member list, and it must have some type of a message board.

After that you're almost set, you just have to fill out this form (the special follower is "warrior") and get five people to sign up with it (send them to this page). Make sure you have a good accurate description of your clan. You have one week from the time you fill out the form to get the five other members until the clan is deleted and you have to start over.

Once you have all of the requirements, the clan will be voted on by a random selection of older members of the community to authorize the full creation of the clan and you'll get an email notifying you that it is done. This is done automatically at midnight PST with no action needed by you or an administrator from PopRe. Contacting a PopRe admin will not help your clan be created.

 

After reading this information, you can fill the clan status:

 

Clan Name - the name your clan will have.

 

Website - you clan site. Make sure you have a decent looking site, to have better chances of the clan being accepted.

 

Clan Tag - the tag that will be shown before (or after) the player's nickname, if that player is in that clan. "AsG" is the clan Asgard's tag.

 

Tag Style - Either you want TAG username ( [Rw]Addiction ) or username TAG ( TheSwarm_TN ).

 

Exclusive - check this box if you want the players to be part of your clan only. Players in other clans can not join, and after being in an exclusive clan, you can not join other clans.

 

Description - make sure to have a well written text talking about your clan, or perhaps the goals of your clan. It will be displayed in the clan's page, in PopRe.

 

 

After this, you will be asked some questions, to make sure you understood the rules of clan creation.

 

- Who is in charge of activating/rejecting your clan?

Random players voting.

 

- What do you do when your clan is ready for activation?

Wait until midnight.

 

- Special follower?

warrior.

 

 

After everything is filled, your clan is ready. Random old people will be elegible to vote. You can see the voting progress bar. After the 10 council voters vote, if the result was NO, you will get information about what you need to do better (either a better description, website, etc). If the result is YES, congratulations, you now have created a new clan!
