While this article is being written, a second Populous: Reincarnated community is emerging - created in 2015 by TheGabber, after having issues with the first PopRe community and with IncaWarrior, they step appart. So, unless one of the communities decides to change their name, the first PopRe that was will be called PopRe1, and the new one from 2015 PopRe2.

 

This particular topic is about PopRe1, the biggest Populous community that ever was (even today, in 2015, it remains the same way). It has been room for debates, tournaments, many friendly and competitive games. It has very active forums, with many topics. It has delivered patches, tools, mods, and other to their players. You can probably find a game in few time (unless it's really late), and you can climb ranks, from brave skill to shaman+! This community (PopRe1) started as a site for new worlds, but later, as EA shut down their servers, it hosted a matchmaker, becoming the main Populous community. In 2015, it was administrated by IncaWarrior, TheGabber and Kiyana, but after some issues, TheGabber "left" it to start PopRe2, claiming that IncaWarrior stole his service (PopRe1 also started as TheGabber service, only later on he added IncaWarrior as an amin).
