Tribe Colour Chooser or the Tribe Customizer was a small application TedTycoon wrote in 2007 using VB6. The application was a plugin for the Populous Resurrection Matchmaker which allowed players to change the colour of their tribe by changing the palette files used in the game. The Tribe Colour Chooser had a RGB colour configuration with pre-defined colours which were the default tribe colours and various other good light colours. You could also use the colour dialog to choose the colour you wanted the tribe to be. The application then showed you a preview of the tribe colour change by editing an in-game screenshot of Populous showing all the different followers and changing the colours in the screenshot to the new chosen ones. The plugin was implemented into the matchmaker until the matchmaker was upgraded to VB.NET.
