Hello, my name in the MM is [GoD]ParadoX or mainly known as Genki. I played Populous the Beginning as a child really often. I've always liked strategy games but Populous was outstanding for me. Else, i've always liked gaming in general but at the moment im not playing any other online games. I started playing online in December 2013.

 

2- What is so special about Populous, that other games don't have?

 

3- What do you think about people wanting a Populous remake or even a Populous 4? And why?

Actually, i am one of those who want a new Populous game because it is kind of the "mother" of all strategy games for me. In my opinion it still has great potential and it is worth it.

 

4- What would you say to a newcomer that is just starting to play Populous in 2015?

I would tell him to get as many games as possible and to not get discouraged by losing games or mean people on the MM. There definitely are some players who would help him learn to become a better player.

 

4- Being good rated on leagues, what do you think a player need to reach a high skill level on this game?

Most of all you need a lot of experience. By playing many games you get the hang of it and learn alot. I think the most important things are the speed of playing, shaman controll and trooping skills.

I think its important because new players can learn from watching them and so they are more likely to stay active.
