Populous always have had a small but solid community: from those who would sign up, 
most would not play (or play one or two games) and leave. Those who were braves
enough to try and learn the online game would be the ones remembered. The matchmaker
would have between 30 and 60 online at most times, but many people wanted more.
Promoting Populous always have been one of the most important things from the
older members, but it's not an easy task - making people want to play a 1998 RTS
in 2015's can be hard - but that would not stop people from promoting Populous 3.
Facebook, Twitter and Youtube would be some of the major promotion ways, along with
forums, blogs and other media. Some even tried to promote in real life, or in other
games forums. We are sure that some of that promoting was useful to bring new members
to Populous. There are some cases where people payed for advertising boosts!

Anyone can help expanding Populous, only by talking to friends, making posts and
posting on forums and blogs, or advertising in social media! Nowadays any advertising 
is welcome, and two or three single players can make the difference! Lets revive
Populous together!
